I am very close to purchasing a 2026 Bronco Raptor in shelter green. No graphics, No code orange package, and no Black appearance package, but it has everything else. I’ve test driven it twice, and I REALLY LIKE IT ! I’ve owned 4 F 150 raptors, driven the Raptor R twice, and I have driven ranger raptors. For me, the bronco raptor is the best driving Raptor , with the ranger Raptor being second. I prefer Marsh gray, but the one that is optioned right is shelter green.

The MSRP IS $ 90,465.00. They are willing to sell it at $ 82, 800.00. Just curious, does this seem like a good/reasonable deal. Very excited, but I just want to make sure it makes sense ! And is the OEM Ford tune worth it and noticeable.

Thank You.

I bought a new 2025 Desert Sand just 2 weeks ago and got almost $10K off the MSRP of just shy of $94K so if you are getting almost $8K off a 2026 that seems to be a pretty good deal. Dealers don't really budge much on 2026 MY here in Houston area. I have had tunes on lot of different vehicles from Porsch 911s to a RAM TRX to my wife's Audis that she has had. I don't think I am going to do it on Raptor, at least not a this point. You will probably want to install dual valve catch can if you go with the tune, at a minimum. It has plenty of go power right now so I don't know that a few more HP and ft. lbs or torque is going to really make much of a difference unless you plan on pre-running the Baja 500 or King of the Hammers.

agree, thats a solid deal on a 26. ive looked at 25s for upwards of 15k off but havent seen much more than about 4-5k on a 26. I have the ford performance tune on mine and im super happy with it.

Thank You for the advice and feedback, especially with the dual valve catch can. It sounds like you have some owner experience with some very nice and performance vehicles. Are you happy with your Bronco Raptor ? Are you happy with the overall build quality ? Any recalls effected your Bronco Raptor ? Did you compare it to any other off road SUV’s ? Are you daily driving it and would you buy it again ?

I currently own a first edition 2024 Landcruiser that I am extremely happy with. It’s fantastic in deep snow and off road, that is what is making this decision so difficult. Often times when I am this happy with a vehicle I don’t change, but I have to admit I really like the bronco Raptor, better than the F 150 Raptor, which I have owned. I even prefer it over the Raptor R.

THANK YOU.

What year is yours ?

And I take it you recommend the tune ?

Do you daily your bronco raptor ?

Are you happy with it and have you had any quality issues ? Roof or door leaks, recalls ?

Thank You for the feedback.

mine is a 24, but I had a 23 and sold it bc I got bumped from my 22 velocity blue order to a 23 when they dropped VB so I ended up with azure gray which I didnt like at all. it looked decent at night but in the sun(which is all the time in CA) it looked smurf blue and basically looked exactly like area 51 but with metallic flake in it. I daily drove the 23 up to about 1500 miles but havent driven my 24 quite as much bc I have a bunch of cars.

to answer your question, yes I definitely recommend the tune especially bc I got it on sale from ford performance and paid for it with points bc I had about 500k pts from having 4 different broncos from my 2 dr in 21 FE and 23 wildtrak to the 23 and now 24 raptors. that being said, I havent had any problems with any of them and either raptor especially considering thats what youre asking about. hope that helps a bit.

I had some paint work done as well doing the handles, gloss black on the grill and the color on the lower front and skid plate. I hated they changed to the cheap looking molded in color black door handles after the body color they did on the 21s.

Love it ! Looks awesome ! Thank you for the reply. I am just really trying to do my homework because I currently own a 24’ LC 250 First edition Landcruiser, which I really like, but every time I drive the bronco Raptor I absolutely Love it ! I am also being very cautious with all the ford recalls, so its nice to hear from actual owners.

Since you’ve owned multiple broncos, have you had any recalls or leaks ?

I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks - barely 200 miles on the odo. It’s not a daily driver. I’ve alway kept a “high water escape vehicle” in the garage living in Houston. Traded in a 2024 Ineos Grenadier that I had built up and customized. I’ll drive it a couple days of the week, take it to the deer lease and the lake, etc. Don’t plan on hardcore offroading anymore (been there and done that) but it will be used for more than just a pavement princess. Honestly, I had no intentions on giving up the Grenadier but we bought my daughter a 2023 Bronco Badlands 2 dr manual. Flew to Ohio to pick it up on her last day of school and road tripped it back. I enjoyed it so much I decided to get the Raptor for me just so we could have some daddy-daughter bonding with our Broncos. She already has a list of stuff she wants to do to it. She doesn’t turn 16 until December so that gives her time to get comfortable with the manual transmission and save up her summer work money for some of her modification list. Happy with the Bronco Raptor so far. It does ride significantly better than the solid axle Grenadier or a Wrangler on the roads. The IFS makes a huge difference. If I was going to really be doing significant trails and rock crawling I would still stick with a solid axle vehicle but the BRaptor is perfectly suited for what I need it to be now.

I totally agree on road manners and handling. its night and day vs quite a few jeeps ive owned and for having 37s and being as big as it is they drive and handle incredibly well and every time im in it I take every opportunity to run over every large obstacle, huge speed bumps, etc bc nothing upsets the suspension its smooth as can be running over anything.
