Spare key fob programming

Has anyone programed a spare third key fob themselves?

Ok so I ordered a blank fob and researched the programming procedure .
I found several articles and videos on the procedures. I also went to my owners manual for information.
I tried several methods more than once and finally got the blank key programmed!
To do this yourself you must have 2 working key fobs.
I still have to get the emergency key cut by a locksmith.
