Just picked up my Cactus Grey 23 yesterday. My original order wasn’t due in for another 90 days but dealer shifted a stock allocation over to me.

If you are in Nor Cal and are hunting for a Braptor, track down Justin B at Future Ford Roseville!

Only have 40 miles on it so far, but absolutely blown away at how amazing this vehicle is. I have a Bronco Sasquatch and I have owned 2 gen 2 Raptor trucks. The Braptor takes all the best features from both vehicles and stuffs it into a crazy looking package…

Stoked to get this thing dirty this weekend.

Welcome and congratulations! Cactus is a great color. You can leave it out in the rain for a week and it doesn't show any dirt. I agree with you that the BRaptor takes all the good from the F-150 Raptor and regular Bronco and rolls them into one package. I think I might actually like the ride quality of the BRaptor even better than the Gen 3 Raptor. They just float down the road so nice and comfortable. Pretty quick too!

I see you have a G63 too. Curious your thoughts on the two. Obviously very different, but I think I'd almost prefer the BRaptor for daily driving. G is nice for all out power, and the interior is super nice, but just cruising around I think I prefer the BRaptor. Plus, you can fit 39" tires with no lift!

After some “hard” surface street driving, I have to agree with you. Weird but oddly capable set up. Feels like a late 80s lincoln boat when driving down the road, lots of “float”. Then you carry speed into a corner and it bites down hard and you can get on the gas fast coming out of it…. I always loved that about my Raptor truck. Ford perfected it in the BRaptor.

As for the G63. That was my attempt at balance in my marriage. Wife got her dream ride, i get to scratch my Raptor itch… That vehicle is in a class all of its own. Hard to make comparisons. MB has been patiently tweaking that set up for 30+ years. Everything is well thought out (except the stupid NON-Touch touch screen🤬). Plus a twin turbo (w/anti-lag) 4.0L V8 is one of the coolest engines I have ever driven. Doing a 4 second 0-60 in a 6000lbs SUV is a trip…. The ride is is stiffer than Braptor. But that would be expected. The AMG set up has these cars running on a rail, it’s stiff but super responsive with just the right amount of over steer…

Congrats on your getting your BRap early! The Cactus Grey is such a great color. What are the main differences you see/feel between the Sasquatch and the BRap, besides the obvious (size, etc)?

Thank you. Just crested 1k but everything has been City, freeway, and some country road driving so far. Probably not conditions that really test the capabilities of the Raptor. However this vehicle has the balance that the Sasquatch was missing. The handling and suspension characteristics are night and day better, and that’s saying something because the Sasquatch was still an awesome truck to put around in. Also, the 3.0 should have been the engine they put in the all of the broncos. All the issues/complaints with the torque curve and transmission shift points that I’m reading about on the Bronco blogs, don’t exist in the BRaptor. This engine Is tuned perfectly for this vehicle. Absolutely no complaints there. May actually like it a bit more than 3.5 in the Gen2/3 Raptors. Sounds like an angry nest of wasps but in a good way…

Will update this post again when I have actually put some hard miles on it and can give better feedback…
