My son owns a 2017 Ford F150 and has had problems with the plastic oil pan leaking. Ford has done the "repair" twice and I think it is still leaking!
My research reveals the Raptor 3.0 engine has the plastic oil pan also. Supposedly Ford has stopped using sealant and went to a o ring for the oil pan.
My question is has anyone that owns the Raptor had any leaking oil pan problems?

Thanks

For what it is worth, I owned a 2017 F150 with the 3.5 EcoBoost and I never had any issue. I now own a Bronco Raptor and have not had any issues with it either.

I have a 2019 F150, 3.5 EcoBoost and have never had an oil leak. Wife has a 2024 BRaptor and it hasn't leaked oil but during a routine oil change our mechanic recommend we replace the plastic plug, which we did. No leakage at this point 17K milage.

Glad to hear you have not had any leaks on the composite oil pans. I hope I can say the same but my son has really had bad luck with his 2017 F150.
I will be doing my first oil change soon so I will be inspecting the pan for leaks.
I just have a problem with Fords decision to do away with metal on the engine!
Anyway thanks for all the replies!
